Midwest Grain LLC is a joint merchandising company formed in July 2000 by Evergreen FS, Inc, Ludlow Cooperative Elevator Co, and Assumption Cooperative merchandising teams to market grain originated by both companies. Midwest Grain has the ability to originate over 50 million bushels of grain each year.

Midwest Grain LLC has the ability to access railroad, interstate highways, and waterways from both company's territories. This allows for more value-added opportunities for the patrons of the two cooperatives. The Board of Directors from each cooperative entered this venture to improve the profitability of their patrons.
